| We will follow your format for the evening. If you do not have a plan, we will start with familiar chart hits through the eras - that people enjoy either singing to or just tapping their feet. We sometimes get asked for really good songs (that people love ot sing to), but you just can't dance to them, so we try to get them covered at the beginning of the evening or while people are eating. We try to encourage events (where food is served) to have it served as early as possible (food is always better fresh) this leaves more time available for dancing. To help to reassure you, we can arrange for customer references (of different ages) that should be able to give you 'peace of mind' that your party will be a success. | |
| We are based in Gillingham, Kent and cover both Kent and London venues. We have done all day outdoor events as far as Weymouth and Devon if required. We are prepared to work out of a marquee (preferably heated) however, due consideration needs to be made for the fact that sound travels for miles straight through the tent sides (sometimes facing towards a building can reduce any noise nuisance). Please ask any venue if they have a decibel meter, as this can disappoint some clients who like to 'feel a lot of Bass from the speakers' as the dB meter switches off the power to the hall sockets when exceeded! | |
| Our equipment has been updated in the past year to cater for audiences from 30 up to 1,500. Typically parties are from 35 to 150 and find that our amplifiers only working at 25% of their output levels (which means quality is maintained). We have done music outdoors at our regular Firework events and Music + MC/PA at 3,000 capacity outdoor school fairs/fetes. We have access to additional equipment to cater for very large audiences i.e. Christmas Lights in Sittingbourne with an estimated audience of 5,000. | |
| Whenever possible please check with the venue you book, that there is access for equipment and parking for our Vito van. We prefer back entrance access if possible. | |

We
have upgraded our equipment recently. The speakers are Renkus
Heinz RFX 121-E accurate full range response from 60 Hz to
18 kHz 124 dB program SPL from a surprisingly compact loudspeaker.
Complex
Conic horn for superior pattern bandwidth, low distortion and more
natural sound. The Bass is handled by two powerful 12" RFX12S
subwoofer developed for high level entertainment applications
for visceral impact,
powered 750W Bass delivering 124dB. Carver
PM950 950W Amplifier serving Mid & Treble and CAudio GB602
750W as Bass Amplifier combined with a Furman X-312 cross-over to
keep the
Bass separate. Depending upon the audience, we use Denon
or Gemini CD 9500 Pro dual CD decks. Citronic CDM10:4 DJ Mixer and
30 channel Furman GQ302 Graphic Equalizer. Wheelable 15U flight cases.
Sennheiser
headphones and a number of microphones plus mic stand for the public
speaker.
Furman
Pro Power Amp Conditioner to reduce power surges. At this point
you may saying 'what does all that mean?' well, it basically means
we
have enough power to satisfy up to 1,000 + people and yet still deliver
better than HiFi quality from the speakers, we have had comments to
the effect 'Wow, I can hear instruments on that CD track, that I have
never heard on my home HiFi'. |

| We have been collecting dance CD's since the 70's (we also have 60' music including some Glen Miller). Liz is a qualified Fitness Instructor and works with music every day, which helps to keep the flow between CD tracks consistent. Gary's original training was in electronics and supports the equipment, mixing the CDs and controlling lighting. We are not your stereotypical scratch DJ's, we are also not 'talk all over the track - without understanding what they are saying' DJs' either. We are basically a married couple that love dancing and fed up with going to disco's that don't play music we want to dance to - so we now do our own! We only speak when there is something significant to say, something to announce, or if something funny happens worth commenting on. | |

This depends on three factors. (1) When you
want us to start (2) When you want us to finish (3) How far we have
to travel
to get there. Typically local events from 7 to 11.30 pm are from £250
to £350 compared to events in London are from £400. We
are able to consider concessions for charity events that we feel led
